Almost every woman wants her nails to look perfect. However, not every one of them can become a manicure master or afford to visit the salon 2-3 times a month. To make your nails beautiful, you only need to have a sense of taste and sets of sliders. Working with them is quite easy, you do not need to have special skills or tools.
Sliders - what are they?
These are thin stickers that are placed on a cardboard backing. Upon contact with water, they peel off and are transferred to the nail. For a better understanding, you can give an example with children's tattoos, but sliders differ significantly from them in their functionality. When the film comes into contact with the top layer of the coating, the transparent part of it dissolves, thus leaving only an image on the surface. That is why the corners of the slider do not peel off and do not protrude, and the film itself remains elastic and strong enough.
Pros and cons of sliders
The main advantage of using such stickers is to save money and time. When a specialist works with each nail separately, the painting can take several hours, respectively, and the price for this increases. Sliders are easily transferred to the nail, have a fairly large range of images and inscriptions, and with careful wearing can last for several weeks, exactly like gel lacquers.
As for the disadvantages, there are not so many of them:
1. During the transfer of the slider from the cardboard substrate to the nail, the film itself is very sensitive to physical contact, so it should be transferred as carefully as possible. It becomes more durable after drying.
2. At the moment when the sticker is applied to the surface of the nail plate, it can form folds. This is due to the fact that the nail itself is not smooth, but slightly convex and may have a raised surface.
